Bard College’s Spanish Studies Program is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish for the Spring 2019 semester. The position involves 2 or 3 courses: a beginner language course, an intermediate-level Spanish for Heritage Speakers class, and the third would be on Latin American Literature conducted in English.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Spanish for Heritage Speakers, should show native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, and an enthusiasm for teaching both language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. ABD candidates are welcome.
