The Department of History at the University of Rhode Island seeks to hire a Multicultural Faculty Fellow (MFF) in the field of Latin American history for the Academic Year 2020-21. Subject to a favorable review of teaching and scholarly activities within the first twelve months, the Fellow will transition into a full-time, funded, tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor at the end of the first year. Region, subfields, and time period are open.

The teaching load during the year of this fellowship is 1:1. The candidate would be expected to teach broadly in Latin American history, engage in research and contribute to department, college, and university service.
