This position acts as the primary contact and champion for the Architecture & Software (A&S) business in the Latin America region, and is responsible for developing short and long range goals and objectives, in conjunction with the Latin American Sales & Marketing Leadership Team.
The position requires development and execution of the LA A&S business plan, including:
Driving growth and performance for the businesses; developing commercial strategies including product, pricing, promotion and market access; defining target growth industries & market segments; product & system launch planning; gathering market intelligence and feedback; pricing management; and providing commercial/sales support.
Develop the A&S annual business plan for the region, in conjunction with the regional management team and LA Marketing team.
Manage the regional P & L for the A&S business including sales and profit forecasting, monthly sales and profit targets and annual growth of the product lines consistent with management's expectations.
Support preparation of A&S product development processes by providing market-based input on priorities, growth areas & market size, competitors, gaps and differentiation.
Ensure that the A&S business identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve business performance.
Create alignment, build and sustain partner relationships between the LA Regional Leadership Team.
Responsible for LA region alignment between the A&S businesses and the global pricing organization.
Partner with the regional directors to establish A&S sales quotas, prepare & finalize sales strategies and establish key customer contacts.
Collaborate with LA Marketing and Business Units to ensure commercial readiness and sales support for product launches including; priority of product launches, determining product demos requirements, appropriate technical support expectations (pre & post sale), and required competency strategy, etc.
Assist LA Marketing in the development of market segmentation models, effective marketing communications, publicity, advertising, and promotional literature/sales tools.
Identify & prioritize commercially sensitive customer problems. Assist the regional and territorial sales teams and involve the business units when appropriate.
Develop & continuously improve in conjunction with the RSMO (Regional Sales, Marketing & Operations) leader business intelligence reporting pertaining to the A&S business including; forecasting, performance reporting by segmentation, industry, customer type, etc.
Assist regional management teams in directing and cultivating the human resources including; establishing and maintaining appropriate engagement levels for domain experts, providing an environment supportive of employee development and advancement, and ensuring the availability of the proper mix of competencies and experience to support the business.
