Candidates are required to have a doctorate or have done a post-doctoral research in a prestigious university, specializing in one of the above-mentioned fields of study.
Candidates under the age of 40 are preferred.
Candidates should have a number of high-quality, peer-reviewed publications in history or related fields with favorable academic recognitions. In addition, candidates should demonstrate good potential for effective teaching and groundbreaking research.
Candidates should be able to offer both foundational courses in history and upper-level courses in their specializations.
Candidates should maintain a high standard of ethical and professional integrity, demonstrate an outstanding competence and spirit of teamwork, including the willingness to accept work arrangements made by the Department and its affiliated teaching and research sections.
Qualifications for the position(s) at the Research Center for the History of People’s Republic of China (PRC)
Candidates are required to have a doctorate or have done a post-doctoral research, specializing in the history of the PRC or the history of the Chinese Communist Party. Candidates under the age of 40 are preferred.
Candidates should have an outstanding record of research and publications and demonstrate the potential for groundbreaking research, as well as the competence for teaching specialized courses in the concerned fields.
Candidates should maintain a high standard of ethical and professional integrity and demonstrate an outstanding competence and spirit of teamwork, including the willingness to accept work arrangements made by the Center.
Qualifications for the Position at the Center for Classical Studies
Candidates are required to have a doctorate from a prestigious European or U.S. university, specializing in the studies of ancient Greece and Rome or Medieval Age and with a record of peer-reviewed publications in the discipline’s international journals. Candidates under the age of 40 are preferred.
Candidate should demonstrate fluency in Latin and manuscript-interpreting capability, as well as the competence for using Latin literature to conduct systematic research. In addition, candidates should be familiar with the European and American academies and demonstrate good potential for scholarly growth.
Candidates should be capable of offering specialized courses on related subjects, especially the relatively strenuous Intermediate and Advanced Latin.
Candidates should maintain a high standard of ethical and professional integrity, demonstrate an outstanding competence and spirit of teamwork, including the willingness to accept work arrangements made by the Center.
