Tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in German StudiesRice University's Department of Modern and Classical Literatures and Cultures seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in German Studies, with a specialization in at least one of the following areas: Black German Studies, Turkish German Studies, German Colonialism, Immigration and Multiculturalism in Germany, or Environmental Humanities. Candidates with additional expertise in at least one of the following areas are strongly preferred: Sexuality and Gender, German Literature since 1900, Political Theory, Cinema and Media Studies, or History of Science and Medicine.
