Teaching Assistant
Type of Position: OtherJob Function: The Barnard political science department seeks a teaching assistant for the following course to be offered in Fall 2022:POLS UN3560, Politics of Urban Development in Latin America with Professor Eduardo Moncada.Teaching Assistants are foremost assistants in instruction. As such, depending on what is appropriate for the particular class, they are expected to hold office hours, attend all the lectures for the class, and participate in the grading for the course. If the course structure allows for it, Teaching Assistants should be offered an opportunity to give one or two lectures in the course in order to gain teaching experience. Lecturing is voluntary, not obligatory.
