The Department of Religion seeks to fill a position at the rank of assistant toassociate professor in History of Christianity (Black Baptist Church or Latinx BaptistChurch studies) to begin August 1, 2023. The successful candidate will be a Ph.D. inHistory of Christianity with demonstrated experience in Black or Latinx communities.Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience, a demonstratedresearch agenda, the ability to seek external funding, and to candidates who areactive in the Baptist Tradition.
