Art Historian—Modernist. COLGATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for a three-semester Visiting Assistant Professor position starting in January, 2023; completion of PhD prior to or shortly after the date of hire required. We are especially interested in candidates whose scholarship and teaching considers Modernism in a global framework; area of specialization is open. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with interdisciplinary university programs such as: Africana and Latin American Studies, Asian Studies, Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, as well as Film and Media Studies.
