The Department of Anthropology at Rice University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin July 1, 2023. We seek a cultural anthropologist whose work amplifies our existing strengths in critical theory, methodological innovation, and ethnography and who are attentive to new sites of emergence within studies of environment, health, inequality and social justice, broadly defined.
