Professor, Constitutional History (Open Rank) The Department of History at the Johns Hopkins University invites applications for an open-rank chair in Constitutional History, with an anticipated start date on July 1, 2024. We encourage applications from scholars working in any field related to the constitutional history of the Americas, broadly construed. We are especially interested in applicants whose research addresses national and transnational legal movements; Latinx history; Asian American and diasporic history; indigenous history; disability history; immigration and citizenship; human rights, civil rights, and civil liberties; slavery and its legacies; constitutional ideas; popular constitutionalism; legal pluralism; and/or the history of gender and sexual
