Texas Lutheran University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Musicology in the School of Music to begin fall 2023. Anticipated rank is Assistant or Associate Professor.

The successful candidate will: teach in-person courses on our Seguin campus, assist to actively recruit music majors and non-majors in cooperation with the other members of the School of Music and Admissions; engage in scholarly and/or creative research activities; work collegially with representatives of other disciplines, programs, and offices on campus. Additional teaching assignments based on a candidate’s strengths, interest, and qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the above qualifications and who also offer one or more of the following:

We seek a colleague who can both challenge and support majors from a diverse student body, and one who is committed to collaboration, diversity, and inclusiveness.
