Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Department of Romance Languages & Literatures (RLL) at Washington University in St. Louis invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Francophone Caribbean literatures and cultures to begin in the fall semester of 2023. We seek an exceptional scholar whose research and teaching focus on the Francophone Caribbean of any period. We welcome applicants working in areas including but not limited to transatlantic, diasporic, or black studies; a secondary specialization in another area of Francophone studies is welcome but not required.RLL comprises a vibrant community of scholars whose research and teaching are at the forefront of advancing the humanities at the University.
