The Film and New Media Program at NYU Abu Dhabi is currently inviting applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track, open-rank position in Film, New Media, and Digital and Interactive Media Studies. We are looking for a scholar who works in the field of Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian film history and theory. We encourage applications from scholars working within interdisciplinary fields (such as postcolonial, gender, transnational, and environmental studies) to connect to other programs within the university’s liberal arts curriculum.  The selected candidate/s will be required to teach entry-level studies courses to the program as well as advanced courses that could be focussed on film, new media, digital media studies, and theory as well as hybrid cour
