Visiting Assistant Professor
Position Details: The History Department at Loyola University Maryland invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Latin American history. The successful applicant will teach four undergraduate courses a semester (ordinarily two preparations), including Introduction to Modern Latin America and HS 100 Encountering the Past. Ability to teach History of Mexico preferred. Taken by all Loyola students as part of the Core Curriculum, HS 100 Encountering the Past uses the perspective of a single historical topic chosen by the instructor to introduce students to the field of history and its importance for understanding the present.
