The Center for Global Non-Communicable Disease Research and Training is seeking a Research Assistant (RA)who will support the ANDES intervention in Puno, Peru remotely from Baltimore, MD. This is a collaborative effort with Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and the University of Washington, St Louis. This role will have a focus on data management, data analysis, and program implementation. The RA will contribute to content development, coordination, and support of technical materials and deliver responsive, high-quality repots and analyses for those leading NCD interventions in Peru and beyond (e.g., from government agencies, development partners, universities, and frontline workers and women) to assist them in building stronger systems by informing policy and advocacy.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Preparation of interview guides and other supporting material for field implementation.
Support coordination and knowledge management to ensure the team and all content remain organized.
Ensure quality data management and analysis of intervention outcomes in collaboration with multiple partners.
Generate reports, presentations, and manuscripts for various audiences to present intervention findings and advocate for policy locally
Liaise with faculty, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the intervention.

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certifications
Required: All IRB-required courses must be completed and appropriate exams passed with necessary certification within 2 weeks of start date.

Assisting patients during evaluations within crowded clinical environment.
Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and personal computer skills.
Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Public Health with emphasis in Epidemiology, International Health or a related health science discipline.
Experience conducting literature reviews, preparing research documents for IRB submissions, and data analysis
Experience working in low- or middle-income countries.
Experience in project coordination, development of fieldworker training protocols, international fieldwork, and cross-cultural communication desired.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
