Assistant Professor / Instructor in Modern United States History
Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of History beginning August 2024. Appointment is for nine months (August–May). The rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor depending on qualifications. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate degree. We are interested in candidates who can teach the Modern US History survey from 1865-present, as well as upper-level courses in the post-Civil War period and 20th century. We have a strong interest in candidates who can engage with one or more of the following programs: Africana Studies; Business, Organizations and Society; Economics; Environmental Studies; Government; Latin American and LatinX Studies; Public Health; Public Policy; and Women’s, Gend
