Principal, Bishop Ward Catholic High School
Bishop Ward Catholic High School, founded in 1908, is the original Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. For generations, it has served largely immigrant families. Today, most of those immigrants are from Latin America. As the first and now only parochial high school serving Kansas City's urban core (others have closed or moved), our student population is approximately 75 percent Hispanic, 20 percent African-American, four percent white and one percent Asian (Burmese refugee families). Bishop Ward seeks a talented Catholic educational leader with a heart for serving a diverse population. Fluency in Spanish would be a significant plus.
