Assistant Professor in Global Studies (Latinx/e migration)
The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in the Liberal Arts in the College of Liberal Arts at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is seeking applications for a full-time, academic-year, tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Global Studies with a focus on Latinx/e migration and the environment to begin September 16, 2024. Other areas of specialization could include, but are not limited to climate change, public health, technology studies, social justice, or education related to Latinx/e populations. Special consideration will be given to applicants who take critical, interdisciplinary, and decolonial approaches to the intersections of migration and social sustainability.
