Assistant Professor, Indigenous History
The Department of History at Memorial University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Indigenous History, commencing July 1, 2024 (subject to final budgetary approval). The areas of specialization are open. The successful candidate will be expected to teach existing courses, and to develop new survey and topical courses in Indigenous History; mentor and supervise honours and graduate students at the MA and PhD levels; and provide support for the Certificate in Indigenous Studies. The successful candidate will respectfully engage with Indigenous communities and support Memorial’s work towards Indigenization and reconciliation
