Visiting Assistant Professor in Latin American History
The Department of History invites applications for a full-time visiting assistant professor in Latin American history. Subfields and specialties are open, though candidates with expertise or teaching interests in indigenous history, economic history and development, and issues of race and/or race relations are particularly encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities include a two-semester sequence in Latin American history and upper-division classes in the candidate’s specialty. The successful candidate also would be expected to contribute to the college-wide Core Cultures program. The annual teaching load is seven courses.
