The Department of Iberian and Latin American Cultures at Stanford University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor who is a specialist in Spanish language poetry, working in at least two regions and/or traditions. We are especially interested in individuals with demonstrated expertise in poetry of the 20th and 21st centuries. Applicants should exhibit the potential to carry out a world-leading independent research program on poetry and poetics and should possess solid communication skills and a commitment to teaching and mentoring.
