Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology, New Mexico State University
The Department of Sociology at New Mexico State University (NMSU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology, effective Fall Semester 2025. The primary area of research specialization is open. Methodologically, a specialization in computational methods is required. The candidate is expected to teach courses in their substantive area(s) of focus as well as computational methods courses as needed. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Sociology or related field completed by the time of appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program that includes seeking external funding.
