Assistant/Associate Professor- Spanish & Portuguese
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a full-time tenure stream Assistant or Associate Professor position in Latin American literatures and cultures. The ideal candidate will show evidence of a well-defined research agenda focusing on the literary and cultural production of Afro-Hispanic or Indigenous populations of the Hispanophone Caribbean or other Latin American regions, with emphasis on the 19th to 21st centuries.
