Assistant Teaching Professor in Atlantic History, Department of History
The Department of History at Georgetown University seeks an Assistant Teaching Professor in Atlantic History, for a three-year term with a start date in August 2025. The preference is for a candidate with a focus on Brazil or the Caribbean world. The successful candidate will teach a 2-3 load (two courses in Fall, three in Spring), including the Atlantic History survey course and thematic undergraduate courses at both the introductory (General Education) and upper levels, on topics to be determined by the candidate in consultation with the department.
