The Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures at the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor, with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2025. The candidate must have a doctoral degree in Spanish or another appropriate field of study by the time of appointment. We prefer expertise in any of these fields: Spanish Peninsular, Lusophone, and U.S. Latinx literatures and cultures. We are also especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate a teaching and scholarly commitment to theoretical and comparative approaches.
