Aurora University Online is looking for adjunct faculty to teach online history courses including:
LGBTQ History
United States History since the 1960s
American History
Latin American History
AU Online faculty should be present and engaged in courses by doing the following:
Regular activity and presence in the classroom through the learning management system (at least four days a week, with one day on Saturday or Sunday) as an active and guiding participant, including discussion forums.
Meet weekly grading deadlines and maintain up-to-date grade books.
Be responsive to student email messages and requests for assistance.
Provide mentorship in the discipline and content expertise.
Respond to all university and departmental requests, emails, messages, and correspondence.
This is an asynchronous online program. Faculty members are expected to be engaged in the online course no fewer than four days per week, one of those days on the weekend. A weekly one-hour synchronous office hour hosted in Zoom is also required.
