Assistant Professor in African American History
The Department of History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in the field of African American History beginning August 11, 2025. The salary range for this position is $77,000-80,000. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in History or a related field by date of hire and show potential for professional development as a scholar and teacher, and a commitment to serving UNC Charlotte students of all backgrounds. A research and teaching focus on African American History is required.
