Director of Operations, Opportunity:

The Director of Operations serves as one of the senior members of the Admissions staff for the Two-Year Residential MBA program at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management; they report directly to the Executive Director of Admissions & Scholarship.
The Director of Operations directs and is accountable for all operational activities within the Office of Admissions including application processing, candidate evaluation and notification, as well as process, systems, and events management. They will lead the efforts to align admissions recruiting activity with all operating functions for the team to include management and supervision of the Residential Admissions Operations Team, consisting of 5-6 full-time professional staff.
The Director of Operations also works collaboratively with other MBA programs team members and departments within the Johnson school, the College of Business, and the Cornell Tech campus to ensure seamless delivery of the school's mission as well as successful attainment of the residential admissions enrollment objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.

- Proven experience connecting diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing practices to business goals.
- Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities with strong team orientation and management skills
- Proven record of successful operations, process and/or project management
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to deliver optimal services and solutions
- Proficiency with systems and technology solutions, including mastery of MS Office with active and regular use of spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external constituencies to include prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, staff, and vendors
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in relevant field strongly preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with systems integration and use of Salesforce, PeopleSoft, and other database systems
- Prior experience in admissions or career services at a top tier business
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Ithaca, NY. Salary to commensurate with education and experience.
