Assistant Professor of Modern Languages & Literature - Spanish
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Trinity University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish specializing in 20th- or 21st-century Spanish or Latin American literature and culture, beginning August 2026. We welcome candidates engaged in theater and performance, graphic narratives and new media, border and diaspora studies, or other interdisciplinary fields. The successful candidate will teach Spanish language and upper-division literature and culture courses, as well as courses in Trinity’s First-Year Experience and Pathways general education curriculum (writing, communication, diversity, and engaged citizenship).
