Founded in 1786, Friends Seminary, the oldest continually operating coeducational, independent Quaker school in New York City, seeks a highly experienced and committed educator to be a leader of faculty programs and support, K-12. Friends has well established programs for orientation, mentorship, evaluation, professional development and growth support. The importance of these programs is evidenced by the School’s financial commitment to the continued growth and development of its faculty. This position is a new administrative role for the School and is intended to enhance the focused support and nurturing of faculty across a wide range of disciplines and grade levels. The successful candidate will have well developed beliefs about teaching and learning that a
