The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) invites applications for 2025 Leading Edge Fellowships, made possible by the generous support of the Mellon Foundation. The program demonstrates the dynamic capacity of the humanities to advance justice and equity in society and illuminates career pathways for recent PhDs beyond the academy.In 2025, the ACLS Leading Edge Fellowship Program will offer 16 two-year fellowship opportunities with mission-driven social justice nonprofits for recent humanities and interpretive social sciences PhDs. This year, our host organizations include National Public Housing Museum (IL),
