The college is accepting applications for an instructosr to teach SOC 230 / CCS230 - INTRODUCTION TO CHICANA/O STUDIES

Description: This course is an introductory survey of the field of Chicano studies and the socio-historical and contemporary factors that influence contemporary Chicana/o and Chicanx/Latinx cultures including their pre-Hispanic roots in the Americas. The cross-disciplinary approach examines applicable methods and theories from sciences and humanities to analyze the lived experiences of Chicanos/as and Chicanxs/Latinxs. This course is designed for those wishing to gain general knowledge of the Chicana/o and Chicanx/Latinx experience.
