Assistant Professor Latin American Art
The Department of Art, Architecture and Design at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Latin American Art. We seek a colleague whose primary field of scholarship is the modern and contemporary art of Latin America and its diasporas. Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in their field and have previous teaching experience. The position will begin August 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory through advanced level courses in the subject area, in addition to courses that span the history of Latin American art and visual culture more broadly, from the colonial period to the present, including Latino art, and introductory courses in art history and art historical method.
