The Department of World Languages and Literatures at Skidmore College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, specializing in Hispanophone Caribbean Studies, to begin in Fall 2025. We seek an innovative scholar whose interdisciplinary research and teaching engage with the diverse cultures, histories, and literatures of the Hispanophone Caribbean.  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Spanish with expertise in Hispanophone Caribbean literature and culture, ideally in both the Caribbean region and the USA diaspora.
