COLBY COLLEGE, Waterville, ME. Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy. One-year sabbatical replacement, beginning September 1, 2026. Four courses per year to include one core survey course in Modern Philosophy for majors, and three additional courses from candidate's AOC and AOS. AOS: Ethics of AI and/or Modern Philosophy. AOC: Modern Philosophy and/or Ethics of AI, Philosophy of Race, Latin American Philosophy, Moral Philosophy, or Political Philosophy. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the inclusiveness and academic excellence of the campus community. ABD or Ph.D. in Philosophy and evidence of teaching excellence required.
