Assistant Professor of Latin American History
The Department of History at Susquehanna University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Latin American History. The successful candidate will teach three courses each semester, including Latin American surveys and upper-level courses in areas of their expertise. The successful candidate will exhibit active, student-centered teaching practices and promising scholarly potential. A Ph.D. in Latin American history is required; ABD will be considered (degree completion required by August 2025). Preference will be given to candidates who specialize in race, diaspora, indigenous groups, sexuality and gender, or environmental impacts.
