Summer Instructor
Position OverviewThe Math and Science Center instructor will develop and implement content-area curriculum for high school students who are participating in a five-week educational institute at KU during the summer, and serve as a role model for participants. Classes are held Monday - Friday, June 1 -July 2, 2026. Orientation for instructors is tentatively scheduled for May 26 and May 27, 2026. These positions are on-going temporary summer appointments. Primary Objective: Prepare students in subject areas they may expect to encounter during the upcoming academic year with a focus on learning study skills that will help students succeed in these classes.Secondary Objective: Motivate students toward college and assist in building their self-esteem and s
